It’s officially that time of year again! The most anticipated week in fashion has come and gone, and we seriously need a debrief.
Paris Fashion Week 2025 was filled with jaw-dropping looks, stunning runway debuts, bespoke pieces, and well-earned standing ovations as designers previewed their Spring/Summer 2026 collections.
Polka Dot Mayhem:
It’s not uncommon to hear things like, “Polka dots are just a quick trend for 2025,” or “Polka dots are so last season.” But polka dots were never just a trend, they’re a darling and timeless pattern that isn’t going anywhere. From bathing suits to maxi skirts to jackets, polka dots have proven to be an eye-catcher every season.

Patou, a European luxury brand founded in 1914 by Parisian designer Jean Patou, showcased a great love for polka dots this Fashion Week through its stunning runway show. With several polka dot looks, Patou declared the pattern to be multi-purpose and encouraged people to embrace it.
However, if you’re still not convinced, be on the lookout not only for new polka dot pieces but also for vintage and bespoke ones. There’s just something about the off-white coloring of vintage fabrics that feels sharp, elegant, and undeniably timeless.
Clean Lines & Simple Silhouettes:
One major takeaway from Paris Fashion Week this year is that simplicity is key and it will never go out of style. While it’s important not to be afraid of patterns (especially polka dots), clean lines and minimal styles are universally admired.

The Row, known for its “quiet luxury,” perfectly captured this idea. Their no-phone fashion show during Fashion Week was simply astonishing - their sharp lines and clean cuts matched the breezy, resort 2026 vibe flawlessly. The newest collection is a perfect example of multi-purpose, classic pieces that will be loved and admired for years to come.
Lace & Sheer:
Lace is always a good idea! For generations, lace has been the staple of feminine fashion for people of all ages, from little girls running around in Peter Pan collars to tweens rocking puffy sleeves to women embracing their femininity through classic styling. Lace will simply never stop being precious.

Sheer looks were also heavily featured on the runways during Paris Fashion Week. Chloé’s show, in particular, inspired us all to both dress up and dress down lace pieces. One of the media’s favorite looks featured shorts paired with layers of tulle and sheer fabrics, a long-sleeve sheer top with small floral embroidery, and a flattering collar. The look was dressed down with an oversized leather carpenter-style vest, strappy peach ballet flats, a black leather shoulder bag, and, of course, the iconic oversized Chloé shades.

This look stood out because of its effortless charm. A personal favorite for many, the sheer-styling trend has quickly become a staple we’ve all grown to love!
Paris Fashion Week 2025 reminded us that fashion is always evolving while still finding inspiration in timeless styles. Whether you love playful polka dots, clean silhouettes, or romantic lace, this season proves there’s something for everyone. As we look ahead to Spring/Summer 2026, one thing is clear, confidence and creativity will always be in style.
