As the 2025’s award season is sadly coming to an end, let us break down the best dressed at this year's red carpet events! This year, we fashion lovers were fed with gorgeous looks that are already setting trends for the upcoming seasons, ranging from sequins, lace, mixing metals, mesh, and more.
Zoe Saldaña won Best Supporting Actress at this year’s 97th annual Oscar’s event.

While everyone is discussing Saldaña’s memorable acceptance speech and celebrating her wonderful work, many of us are also intrigued by her stunning look of the evening. Saldaña was dressed in a custom Saint Laurent layered maroon dress. She accessorized by wearing black sheer opera gloves and a thick diamond necklace with diamond earrings. Her hair was also tightly tucked behind her ears to expose her shoulders. Her fans loved her clean and slick "no makeup-makeup" look, a term describing casual make up instead of full glam, as it accentuated her beauty. As seen in the previous seasons, maroon is continuing to steal the hearts of fashion crowds and I can confidently say that we will be seeing more of it in the upcoming seasons.
Gracie Abrams was without a doubt one of the most influential female artists this previous year and is also easily one of best-dressed at 2025’s Grammy awards. Her look, referred to as The Chanel Bride, was a beautiful combination of romantic and elegant.

Abrams sported an ivory gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline which obviously wasn’t complete without Chanel’s staple rose details and a black ribbon as a belt around her waist. Her black pumps were revealed by the gown’s unique length. The primary part of her look was the sheer veil which emerged from the neckline which covered her sleek bob and cascaded down to form a train. Abrams’ look was completed with signature Chanel jewelry, including a Coco Crush diamond ring and earrings. Her makeup was also significant because she opted for a pale pink lipstick; smoky-brown eyeshadow; and subtle highlight which enlightened her nose.
Lily-Rose Depp made an appearance at this year’s Oscars events and her red-carpet

moment was everything! The model and actress’ notoriety skyrocketed this year, becoming known for her TikTok trends and sounds. She arrived at the Oscars in a jaw-dropping look, which is referred to as The moody Chanel-princess style. Her look included a floral, lace, see-through tight dress, which was embroidered with a sequined bust and frilly tiers of sequined fabric along the skirt. She wore a pair of satin Mary Jane heels and white gold jewelry including tiny studs. Her hair was perfectly curled in a side part and her makeup included heavy bronzer and a pale lip. I am a huge fan of Depp’s look and I am obsessed with her black stain Mary Jane heels. I would like a pair for myself!
Moncia Barbaro made an excellent impression for her first personal Oscar nomination! Barbaro’s look is simply stunning and is reviving the ballet core. The new

Dior brand ambassador was obviously dripping in Dior. Her silk, voluminous, blush gown was fitted with a beaded bodice and her hair was neatly tucked into a bun with face-framing pieces. Barbaro’s look wasn’t complete without a dramatic diamond necklace, which paired well with her beaded bodice. Her rosy cheek and matching lip complimented her overall look. I will be keeping an eye out for Barbaro’s upcoming fashion looks because her 2025 Oscar’s look was one of my personal favorites!
Overall, the 2025 award season was definitely a hit and I’m looking forward to seeing how styles showcased on the red carpet will be used in the upcoming seasons.
