On April 29th, Notre Dame hosted its annual Spring Open House for prospective middle schoolers. Organized by Ms. Aleandre along with faculty and staff, the event welcomed over 100 students and families excited to explore life Chez Nous.
The evening began with a welcome from Ms. Vargas and Ms. Brillant, who introduced visitors to Notre Dame’s mission, values, and close-knit community. Afterward, each guest was paired with a Chez Nous Sister—a current student—for a private, personalized tour of the school.
Guests visited classrooms, the library, the art room, and the chapel, meeting teachers

along the way and getting a feel for daily life at Notre Dame. Tour guides also shared special school traditions, including Anne’s Values, retreats, and choral concerts—hallmarks of the Notre Dame experience that reflect the spirit of the Chez Nous community. The goal of the tour was to highlight the warm, welcoming environment that makes Notre Dame feel like home.
One unexpected highlight of the evening was a sneak peek of the spring play, Little Shop of Horrors, which was in rehearsal during the event. Guests caught glimpses of the cast performing and got a sense of the creative energy that adds to the vibrant community here at ND.
The Spring Open House gave future 7th graders a true glimpse of what it’s like to be part of the Notre Dame family—and we hope to see many of them back in the fall!
