A portion of Notre Dame’s senior class gathered in the auditorium the night of

Thursday, October 16th to be officially inducted into the National Honor Society. This notable achievement follows many years of dedication and hard work that the 28 students gave to Notre Dame over the past four years.
In previous years, the induction ceremony took place in March of the members’ graduation year; however, it was moved to October this year making the celebration a part of the fall festivities. Each newly inducted member received a certificate stating their achievement, along with a friendship bracelet to uphold the Notre Dame annual theme of friendship, and to remind the members of the five pillars of NHS they serve.
The five pillars are Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character and Citizenship. These qualities are ever present in each member of the NHS and are qualities they will continue to uphold for the rest of their time at Notre Dame, and throughout the rest of their lives.
Families and friends were also present as they watched each member receive their

well deserved certificate, after gathering in the ND Commons for hors d'oeuvres. This beautiful ceremony was organized by the Notre Dame faculty and staff. We are so proud of our Chez Nous sisters and their honorable achievements. We know they will continue to uphold the NHS values and make Notre Dame proud.
